Convention 2012

The San Diego County Amateur Radio Council, Inc. (SANDARC) is an organization that was formed on August 11, 1958 by the San Diego area Amateur Radio Clubs to help further the goals of Amateur Radio Countywide and to support those clubs. Today SANDARC assists the clubs with yearly events and activities that every club can attend. Some of these events would be the exhibit booth at the San Diego County Fair held in June-July of every year (the old Del Mar Fair) as well as countywide Amateur Radio license examinations just about every weekend of the year. It is here that you can take your examination for your Technician, General or Extra Class License. From time to time SANDARC also sponsors special classes for those who wish to obtain a license with testing immediately after the class.

Every four years, SANDARC sponsors the ARRL Southwestern Division Convention here in San Diego. Our next convention will be in September 2014. Be sure to drop by the convention!
